Over the course of my career, I had several meetings regarding international pricing for upcoming product launches. To say I was shocked at pricing policies by country, is an understatement.
Due to international policies and government agreements, I was not privy to see, the price of a branded US pharmaceutical drug in some countries was slightly more than the cost of the packaging in the US, meaning - US Pharma companies were forced to take a bath at selling their products (at a massive loss) in certain nations. It never made sense to me.
Divesting US biopharma research and manufacturing from foreign nations, such as China, and investing $500 billion in the US.
Providing Americans who are paying cash or are in financial need direct access to manufacturers for discounted prices and patient-access programs. (Some patients will be able to get their medications for free).

Because the TrumpRx plan shares the name with the TrumpRx.gov website, there has been confusion as to how TrumpRx will reduce drug prices for all Americans, because most folks thought it was just a website.
