"Artificial Intelligence"... how many have considered the ridiculousness of this term? Regurgitating and processing algorithms is not intelligence... it is high speed processing of known quantities. Intelligence is more of an ability to innovate when you don't know what the known quantities are. Is it possible for a machine to invent a new innovation, concept, precept? I doubt it very much. Recycling of known information is more descriptive of high speed computing than is "intelligence". The term itself is disinformation. This technology has a very significant potential for abuse at the highest level. 'Dangerous' does not even begin to describe the evil coming with unbridled use of "AI".

I call it Artificial Stupidity. How could stupid people ever invent anything intelligent? And people are stupid because if they weren't we wouldn't have all the wars and corruption that we have everywhere you look. And we wouldn't have any sheeple either.

You’re so right Karen! I especially agree with your observation of how A1 threatens to subvert children’s skill development I critical thinking, discernment, etc., but also become a virtual”god”, filling in blanks that have throughout the ages been answered through parenting and more importantly through God’s Holy Spirit.

At first on X people were making fun of Grok. Now i'm watching people slowly slide in to depending on it.

Right now the younger generation can't even read a map because they grew up with GPS. I saw a girl staring at a map and she said "I can't use this, I have no idea how"

It will be the same with AI. The generation that grows up with it won't be able to use their most valuable gift.......their own mind.

To a large extent television has already robbed people of their ability to think. TV teaches people what to think instead of how to think.

AI will the next evolution of robbing people of their own mind.

Mike you are absolutely correct. Years ago (2012) I presented a sermon on media, specifically TV. I shared an anecdote that a British gentlement shared about growing up in "merry ole England" back in the 1940s. He lived in a row-house development and shared the story of how he and his friends would be out til late at night playing in the street. Kickball, riding bikes, or just hanging out. Everyone knew each other--to include parents.

He said that by the mid-1950s the children were no longer out on street in front of the house because homes now had the "tellie." All you could see at night time was the flickering of lights inside the houses that was emitted from the tell-LIE-visions.

I produced copies of old Sears Wish-Book catalogs from the 1940s where it would show "families" playing family designed games. They were looking at each other. Fast forward to the 1960s and beyond, they were still playing games but many were about self and not family; conversely, televisions advertised in those catalogs showed the family looking at the TV and not each other. THEY WERE NO LONGER TALKING TO EACH OTHER!!!!.

I'm am convinced to this day that the Tel-LIE-vision and the Internet are two prime tools that Satan has used to help destroy our once God centered nation.

de Toqueville once commented that what made America great was her faith and families; take away either and you'll destroy America....
