Elon's Multi-Species Planetary Cat Has Been Let Out of the Bag
Peter Thiel casually discloses that Elon Musk is working on turning human beings into an 'interplanetary species' and that going to Mars is political movement in the NYT "Interesting Times" podcast.
July 22, 2025: In a recent interview on the NY Time’s podcast, Interesting Times with Ross Duthout, Peter Thiel casually discloses that Elon Musk is working on turning human beings into an 'interplanetary species' and that going to Mars is more of a political movement to create an alternative society - to the United States and free world.

“What Does Mars Mean?” - Elon Musk’s Dystopian Utopia
In the interview, Thiel states that going to Mars isn’t, “a silly science tech project, but a political project. Mars was supposed to be a political project. It was building an alternative.”
When asked, “What does Mars mean?” Thiel stumbles through trying to explain the concept of Mars as an Ai-Libertarian utopia, but Ross speaks over Theil stating that Mars is, “a vision of a new society populated by many, many people descendant from Elon Musk.”
“2024 Was the Year Elon Stopped Believing in Mars”
Recapping a pre-2024-election conversation Thiel had with Elon, Thiel said “You know if Trump doesn’t win, I just want to leave the country.”
To which Elon responded, “There’s nowhere else to go. This is the only place.”
When Thiel arrived home, he realized, “Wow. Elon you don’t believe in going to Mars anymore. 2024 was the year Elon stopped believing in Mars.”
Why I Think “Mars” is the United States
Elon didn’t stop believing in Mars. Mars is code word for the US and then the world to be transformed into a new society, where humans are genetically re-engineered and our rights and freedoms are obliterated.
When Elon said, “There’s nowhere else to go. This is the only place,” I believe he was referring to the United States as the only nation in the world where Elon and his fellow brolicharchs could deploy the policies, technologies and “crises” required to create their new vision of a technocratic, universal basic income American society in which Americans would be 100% dependent on the government’s technologies for survival that would eventually be deployed across all nations.
Thiel Invests Heavily in Ai, Biotech, and US Politicians
Ross pointed out that Thiel invested early on in the political careers of President Donald Trump (for the 2016 election) as well as JD Vance. Ross asked Thiel point blank how he felt about his ROI (return on investment) with Trump in 2016 vs today.
Thiel didn’t directly answer, but basically responded that he was unable to even have the conversations that he wanted to have with the 2016 Trump administration regarding Ai, politics, biotech, and societal norms, but he can have these conversations today.
The men discussed that for a ‘decadent’ (comfortable and safe) nation, such as the United States, to move out of stagnation into advancing a technocratic authoritarian global governance, that that society would need to lean into danger. In other words, a crisis or multiple crises would have to be created for Americans to give up their rights and follow government orders.
Ironically, neither of the two men brought up COVID-19 or Operation Warp Speed which transformed societal norms and forced an experimental gene-editing technology on billions of humans around the globe.
Thiel Lets Elon’s the Multi-Species-Planetary Cat Out of the Bag
During the interview, Thiel also recaps a conversation that he and Elon had with the CEO of DeepMind, Demis Hassibas, when Demis told Elon that he was working on creating a SuperHuman Ai, the most important project in the world.
To which Elon responded, “I’m working on the most important project in the world. I’m turning us into an interplanetary species.”
Note: Elon is turning ‘us’ (you and me) into a new species, not just cats.
Demis quipped back at Elon that his woke Ai would just follow his new multiplanetary human species to Mars.
Note: Peter Thiel and Elon Musk have been long-time friends and colleague going back to their years at PayPal (formerly known as Confinity). In March 2020, Peter Thiel’s Confinity merged with Musk’s X.com, which was a digital banking company.
Note: The China National Gene Bank published a 4-minute PR video on how China is working with global organizations (including the FDA) to genetically re-engineer humans and all life forms.
Are You for or Against the Extermination of the Human Species?
There’s a video clip from this 1-hour interview that’s gone viral, in which Theil struggles to answer whether or not he’s for the preservation of the human species. This question was brough up in light of the transhumanism agenda which intends to completely change what it means to be human through gene-editing technologies and Ai.
While Theil eventually answered yes, in this situation, his ‘yes’ is a definite ‘NO.’ Thiel explains why transvestites don’t go far enough in mutilating their bodies. He envisions physiological changes to human beings that go far beyond transexual surgeries. Thiel wants to change all of our biological systems and organs to be part human biology, part non-human biology, and part Ai - including our brains work and how and what we think.

You are correct in the fact that "mars" has a deeper coded meaning. They are speaking in metaphors related to alchemy and the "great work." They are not talking about some planet millions of miles away.
Mars is reference to a force they are applying to the population to cause, coerce, and create change.
Through chaos and trickery they will "melt the base metal" (the public and its current institutions) and turn it into gold (their vision of an end product/societal structure)
Trump keeps speaking of this "golden era" etc....The Golden Era will be what society becomes after they beat society into submission.
I actually KNOW Musk....via many private Telegram chat sessions last September and October, When I asked him directly, "Why the HECK are you obsessed with your "Occupy Mars' idea, when the United States Secret Space Command already DID so back in President Reagan's first few years, under the code name 'Star Wars'? ONE colony, as of last count, has about 270,000 underground occupants? The movie 'Total Recall' with Arnold and a young Sharon Stone was how the global shadow government signaled all with 'eyes to see and ears to hear' that your current pipedream of megabucks NASA / SpaceX contracts is only that....a 'done deal" you hope most folks not even BORN in 1983 will swallow whole?" His response was total....silence. In another Telegram chat, he told me point blank, "Admiral Richard Byrd's post WW II 'Operation High Jump' expedition into hollow earth known as 'Agartha" never even happened, David". WHAT ?!! Then Steven Quayle's very popular best-selling book "Empire Beneath the Ice" is purely fictional (it is NOT). There's much third-party historicity (evidence) that Byrd lost many destroyers, battleships, planes and soldiers in this brave adventure.
